I was nine years old the first time I found leverage. A Colorado snowstorm, a shovel, and a neighborhood full of driveways — then enough cash to rent a snowblower and take five times the driveways in half the time. I didn't know the word "leverage" yet. I just knew more driveways meant more money.
By middle school I was selling sunglasses out of my locker. In high school, I was tutoring my town. In college, I sold custom apparel nationwide — then sold the business. Then COVID hit, and I taught myself to roll sushi in my own kitchen. When athletes and celebrities started asking me to cook for them, I said yes — same as I always had. See the opportunity.
